Board and Train Programs for Dogs Ages 4 Months and Up
Our dogs are an important part of our families. That is why we understand your need for having an obedient pet.
During your dog’s stay at Common Canine, they will be immersed in a real home setting with access to land and frequent public visits. Our goal with these custom programs is to educate your dog to set them up for long term success. If you are thinking of adding a new puppy or dog into your family, or If you currently have a dog that is displaying problematic behaviors and simply won’t listen, Common Canine has the answer.

3-week BASIC program
The 3-week board and train program provides basic fundamentals to any, and all dogs. This program includes daily training sessions, socialization, and exercise. After your pet’s customized program, your dog will be equipped to establish a better relationship with you built on the foundation of basic obedience and proper fundamentals.
At the end of the 3-week program, we will conduct a go-home lesson at your house where we then educate YOU on how to grow your relationship while maintaining the obedience that we instilled in your four legged friend.
At the end of the program, your dog will know how to:
Heel with a loose leash
Stop automatically during a pause on walks
Lay and sit on ‘place’ for an extended period of time
‘Sit’ on command and with leash pressure
‘Down’ on command and with leash pressure
Properly respond to the ‘off’ command if jumping
You will also receive one Instructional video with your dog that you can rewatch to freshen up on new training principles. Once the program is completed your dog is able to board with us in the future for $50 a night. Pet pick-up and drop-off is included in the program cost.
The three-week board and train program starts at $2,800 for one pet.
5-week intermediate program
The five-week board and train program includes all obedience fundamentals from the three-week program, plus more advanced sessions and included training equipment. We implement an e-collar, a tool used for obedience reliability and to strengthen your pet’s leash skills while moving your training towards off-leash obedience.
This course is ideal for you if you seek a higher level of training that will give your dog a new world of freedom, while building confidence throughout the process. At the conclusion of the 5-week course, you and your best friend will have the tools for on-leash obedience.
The Five-Week Program Includes:
Pet pick-up and drop-off
All obedience taught in the three-week program
An e-collar and remote
An elevated place bed
Two instructional videos customized for your pet
Two training outings in varying social settings and environments
Three one-hour follow-up lessons
The five-week board and train program starts at $4,500 for one pet.
8-week advanced program
The eight-week board and train program focuses on advanced off-leash obedience, in addition to the training included in the five-week program. This course is created to build your pet into the ultimate K9 companion, trained in various at-home and social settings.
The length of this program ensures that we have enough time to solidify your dog’s off-leash training through a robust proofing period, where it faces a number of distractions and environments.
The Eight-Week Program Includes:
Pet pick-up and drop-off
All obedience taught in the five-week program
An e-collar and remote
An elevated place bed
Four instructional videos customized for your pet
Four to six training outings in varying social settings and environments
Six one-hour follow-up lessons
The 8 week board and train program starts at $7,500 for one pet.
